My kids LOVE popsicles in the summer time… but I don’t love the price for gluten-free/dairy-free treats – at 4 in a box for $6+, gasp! Thankfully, due to the internet, there are tons of options out there that won’t make us go broke, and without any preservatives!
All you need is some BPA free popsicle molds, that were dishwasher safe – like the ones my friend told me about on a tip from the 100daysofrealfood blog. I bought two sets from amazon.com, and I was in business.
We just grabbed a few ingredients that we had on hand and went to work dumping things into the blender, pouring them out and freezing! (that took some patience but they were SO worth it!) This filled up 12 molds, with a bit left over to refill 4 more the following day.
* 1 whole pineapple diced up
* 1 banana
* 1 can of coconut milk
* 1/2 tsp pure vanilla
* 2 Tablespoons raw honey
There are several with berries, and I’ve seen a chocolate we’re excited to try as well! YUM!
